The Christmas season is finally here! A time of giving and joy. The beautiful lights, the yummy baked goodies, but what I enjoy most is spending quality time with my family. I'm sure I'll fit in some time for more nail art tutorials too! What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than these adorable Santa nails. ** This post may contain affiliate links. If you're new to nail art and want some tips, check out my post on polish perfection here. Make sure the polish is fully dry before moving on to the next step. Next, paint a wide stripe down the center of the nail using the striping brush and the white polish. Let it dry. Using the black polish, paint a wide black stripe across the center of the nail and yep, you guessed it, let it dry! Now for the buckle. With the silver polish, paint a square around the middle of the nail, and a small line for the post. Almost done! Use your dotting tool and the black polish to make dots down the nail. Add a top coat and you're finished. Or, you could add Santa too................... SantaRequires most of the same colours as above except you'll need pink for the nose. I used a bright while nail pop for this tutorial so I painted it a nude colour that would be similar to the natural nail colour. You can skip that step if you want, because natural tone works works well. Paint the cuticle area with red polish. Use your dotting tool to create the trim of santa's hat. Continue using the dotting tool along the sides and bottom of the nail to make Santa's beard. With the smaller end of the dotting tool make two black dots for the eyes, and one pink dot for the nose.
Finish with a topcoat. Super easy santa nails! The only hard part is waiting for each coat to dry before moving on. Next time, I'm gonna use gel polish! Click here for more Mani Magic tutorials!
