Bubble nails are perfect for beginner nail artists. They're ridiculously easy to do and the effect is mesmerizing. You've probably seen them all over instagram. This is not my original design, I think the idea came from Kirsty Meakin from Naio Nails.  Follow along to this easy nail art tutorial. Read more...

To do the bubble nails you will need to have a gel system as it won't work with regular polish. The nail flakies are optional, you can use any gel colour you like. I just find that the effect is better with a chrome or chameleon base.

You will need:
base/ no wipe top coat
Black gel polish
nail flakies  (optional)
water bottle
a few drops of dish soap

Add a few drops of dish detergent into your plastic bottle. Fill the bottle halfway with water, and shake it up. Set it aside.

Prep your nails, apply a base coat and cure 30 sec LED/2min UV.

Apply the no wipe top coat but do not cure!!

Squeeze the bottle gently until bubbles reach the top. I used the flat end of a polygel brush to slide the bubbles off of the bottle and put them onto the nail.

After you've covered the nail with bubbles, cure.  Wipe the excess bubbles off with isopropyl alcohol and a lint free wipe.

Finish with a topcoat and you're done! The easiest nail art ever!

I tried it with green and gold chrome powders too.

So simple yet so stunning. I personally prefer the chameleon because of that gorgeous colour shift. Which one do you like? Comment below. Check out more nail art tutorials here.
